Hi, I’m Masa — a born-and-raised Tokyo local in my 40s.
I work as a station staff member at a Tokyo train station, including night shifts. It’s a busy job, but I love being part of the city that never sleeps.
I’ve traveled to Thailand and Cambodia, and while I haven’t been to many countries, those trips made me realize something important — Japan is incredibly affordable, convenient, and livable. Tokyo especially has everything you need: amazing food, great public transport, and plenty of green spaces to escape the hustle.
I live frugally, but I enjoy every day of Tokyo life to the fullest.
On this blog, I share real, honest stories about everyday life in Tokyo — from supermarket finds and home cooking to the little things that make this city so special.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the ride!
